Cricket Competition at Hua Hin International School April 4, 2018 Our BKK Prep cricketers travelled to Hua Hin on Sunday 1st April to have a two match competition with Hua Hin International School. It was a mixed Primary and Secondary team (Seven players from Primary and six players from Secondary Year 7). They did very well in all aspects of the game, particularly batting, bowling and fielding – and they won both of their games with big margins. Most importantly they played like a real team and in the true spirit of the game. All the students were awarded certificates which Mr Owen will be giving out during assembly (and similarly for the six secondary students as well). In addition to winning both of their games, there were awards for Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder. The best fielder went to a child called Nathan from HHIS. Best batsman went to Kittu Katiyar from BKKPrep from Year 7. She is the only girl from our team and her winning Best Batsman is really special achievement. Arjun Narasimhan from Year 6 won best bowler for his wickets including bowling a wicket maiden over.
