KS2 Recent News and Events September 7, 2018 This week we have been recruiting KS2 ambassadors who will represent their class and KS2 this year. They will help Miss Bialek with assemblies, communicating information across the Key Stage and helping to make KS2 even better. Well done to the following pupils who have been selected to be the new KS2 ambassadors for 2018-2019. 3MC – Mel 3LS – Zoe 3EG – Mita 3DC – Cake 4FS – Jaisai 4AB – Oscar 4CD – Vivek 4CC – Saya 5DO -Yaashna 5MF – Hannah 5WF – Mina 5JY – Anie 5EW – Ira 6SD – Areeya D 6DS – MJ 6AW – Andy 6SC – Arokya Thank you to everyone who put themselves forward, it was a very difficult decision to make. If you were not successful in this role, please remember there are plenty of other roles coming up such as Student Council, Eco Warriors, Digital Defenders and many more. Last week we set the challenge in KS2 for pupils to create a badge representing our value of the month: Communicators. Well done to Jayden in 5EW for his excellent badge and the winner of the competition. This month our Value of the month is Active learners, and we challenge children to create a poster all about how to be an active learner in lessons. Anyone who makes a poster will receive 5 dojo points, and we will announce the winner at the end of the month. The winner will receive an extra 5 dojo points! We are still looking for talented and confident KS2 musicians who would like to play children in and out of assemblies. If you play an instrument or would like to perform please let your class teacher know who can sign you up. Remember, there will not be any rehearsal time at school so you will need to be responsible and prepare and practice at home. We can’t wait to see all the talent we have in KS2 at Bangkok Prep. Finally, thank you to all those who attended the KS2 welcome parent meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. The slides from the meetings will be available on your child’s year group Firefly page by the end of this week. We are always looking for ways to improve, so please do take some time to fill in this feedback form about the meetings and KS2.
