Mike Gatting visits Bangkok Prep October 20, 2017 Our Year 6 students and Primary Cricket players; approximately 80 students in total; had an exciting opportunity today and participated in a Cricket Skills Clinic led by Mike Gatting. Mike Gatting, is a former English cricketer. He played for Middlesex (1975–1998; captain 1983–1997) and for England from 1977 to 1995, captaining the national side in twenty-three Test matches between 1986 and 1988. Mike Gatting is currently on his first tour of Thailand, stopping off at Bangkok Prep and other international schools in Bangkok; sharing his knowledge of the game and skills with our students; who were all ready to learn and practice some new skills and for many the first time playing cricket. The Year 6 team and PE department had a fun morning facilitating skills. We will use this new learning on our First Bangkok Prep Cricket game on Sunday 12 November with Hua Hin International School at the secondary campus T77.
