Netball Round Up July 4, 2018 On Monday 18th June Bangkok Prep hosted some friendly netball fixtures against ANS Titans. This was the first time that the girls played netball on their home ground. Team A started well with both Malissa and Charlotte scoring confidently, leading the team 9-2 at the end of the first quarter. Benya, Svara and Silvana worked well together in defence and Sara performed some lovely passes into the circle as a WA. The girls increased their score in each quarter to finish the game 28 – 6. This was an excellent game to watch and the girls played extremely well together, with very smooth passing and a brilliant understanding of their role on the court. Team B fought goal for goal throughout their game to lose 8-6 in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter. Some girls were nervous about playing on their home ground. Charlotte worked hard as a centre, along with Sofia playing multiple roles and Yena as a solid GK. This is just the beginning of Netball at Bangkok Prep and I am excited for next season already, when we get to play against the bigger schools in BISAC.
