Alumni Update – Ray in Full Swing! BKK Prep, Event, News March 12, 2021 Now a professional golfer, Amarin Kraivixien, graduated from Bangkok Prep back in 2015. He studied History, Business and Geography for his A Levels. Ray highlights that his experience at Bangkok Prep was amazing and that he had wonderful teachers and classmates who made his time in school enjoyable. Our talented alumni received a full scholarship to play golf at Campbell University in the USA. Ray graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He said that A Levels helped him prepare for university life as the complexity of it allowed him to become more organised and helped with his time management. Straight after graduating University, Ray kick started his career by becoming a full-time professional golfer. Currently, he is playing in Thailand and South East Asia. He also shares that he’s found a new hobby in stock trading in his free time, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all tournaments have been postponed. He states that trading is similar to golf because “It can frustrate you, but there are plenty of opportunities for you to grab and you can never stop learning”. We are so proud to have an over achiever like Ray as our alumni! Here’s a message from Ray: “I want to thank everyone at Bangkok Prep for all the support as a student and as an athlete. It means so much to me, especially during my last 2 years in school. Bangkok Prep pushed me to put in extra time and effort in to my work, have faith and trust in my decision to pursue golf and school at the same time. I can firmly say that my parents’ decision to put me in this school was one of the best decisions they ever made for me.” Thank you Ray for sharing your journey with our Bangkok Prep Alumni community. We wish you all the best in your professional golf career and in everything you do.
