Anti-Bullying Week at Primary BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary November 19, 2021 This week was Anti-Bullying week at Bangkok Prep’s primary campus. As an outstanding and Internationally-Minded learning community that inspires all members to achieve their full potential, raising awareness around bullying and empowering students to make a positive change is something we take seriously. To kick start our Anti-Bullying Week at Bangkok Prep’s primary campus the children and staff were invited to wear odd socks to celebrate our individuality and differences. Throughout the week, students and staff worked together to shine a spotlight on what bullying is; where, when and why it might happen; as well as consider all of the people who are affected by bullying and who can help. But raising awareness is not enough, we want to equip our students with the necessary skills to safeguard their own well-being and become agents of change. Learning activities included assemblies, lessons, story-time, circle-time, discussions, role-play and different creative tasks. All activities incorporated the theme of kindness, where just ‘One Kind Word’ can be a superpower when it comes to stopping bullying and making the world a kinder place. Here are some photos of work from throughout the week… For more information on the week’s events and a support pack for parents, please visit the PSHE FireFly Page.
