Blood Donation Campaign

Dear Bangkok Prep Community,

As you may know, blood donations play a crucial role in saving lives, especially in times of emergencies and disasters. Every day, thousands of patients across the country require blood transfusions for surgeries, treatments, and illnesses. Unfortunately, the demand for blood often exceeds the supply, leading to shortages and delays in medical care.

As a school community, we have a unique opportunity to make a difference and help those in need by organising a blood donation drive. The blood drive will take place on Tuesday 16th May from 11am – 3pm at Habito Mall, and we are calling upon all eligible donors to participate. Please complete the attached Blood Donation Application form and Questionnaire upon your arrival. Restrictions upon blood donation from people who resided in the UK, Ireland, or France during the 1980s and ’90s have recently been lifted in Thailand, allowing many more members of our community to donate blood and save lives.

To register your interest please complete the form here as we can inform the Red Cross the  estimate of participation. 

If you are unsure about your eligibility to donate blood or have any concerns, please consult your doctor. We also encourage you to spread the word about the blood drive and share this message with others who might be interested in donating.
