What motivated you to choose this university(s) and program/course/major?

I have always adored fashion, as an art form and medium of creative expression. I was drawn to this course with its duality of theoretical discussions of the conceptualisation of fashion and the creative processes involved. It has always been a dream of mine to explore my love of the arts in higher education, as well as gaining further knowledge of how to conduct business in this realm.


What did you study at A-Level?

Business Studies, Psychology, Media Studies.


How has your time at Bangkok Prep prepared you for your university studies?

My selected A-Level subjects were crucial and most beneficial in building any fundamental knowledge in the areas I shall explore in higher education. The A-Level curriculum offered at Bangkok Prep has pushed me to delve deeper into my passions, accompanied by the excellent support I have received from all of my subject teachers.


Can you share a specific example or story where a teacher/staff or course at your school particularly helped you in your university application process?

My media studies teacher Mr. Holt had been a great help throughout my university application process, making the time to go over my personal statements with me and enable the most beneficial adjustments. Furthermore, being someone I would go to for academic advice throughout my A-Levels.


What ECA/Community Service/Work Experience activities were you involved in both in school and outside, and how did these experiences influence your university choice or career aspirations?

I was involved in the school’s student-led newspaper: Prep Gazette. The first year of sixth from I had the role of Head of Graphics, then in the second year me and Moera had the opportunity to lead the Gazette. My most notable experience outside of school which solidified my interest and passion in this field was the opportunity to intern at Vogue Thailand’s Marketing department in the summer of 2023, allowing me to gain more practical skills and business acumen in a working environment.


Are there any awards that you’ve received while studying at Bangkok Prep that you are particularly proud of?

Business student of the month, Psychology student of the month.


What are you most excited about as you transition to university?

A much anticipated transition to a European city lifestyle in a fashion capital. I am honored and truly excited to be able to receive my higher education in a place with an abundance of work opportunities in my field of interest.


What advice would you give to current students who are about to start the university application process?

To read greatly into your university’s selection criteria and craft your personal statement in a way that embodies the intersection between your identity and your person, and the values the institution searches for.


Looking back, what would you have done differently during your time at school to better prepare for university?

Whilst I am most satisfied with the outcome of my applications, I would advise anyone and everyone to keep their options open! The last two years of your high school journey are more powerful than you may think, in prompting personal growth and change in aspirations. Keep your options open in terms of courses and geographical locations.

Conveniently located on Sukhumvit 77, Bangkok Prep offers both Primary and Secondary campuses. Upon deciding on Bangkok Prep, applicants submit their application form and required documents. Assessment sessions are then scheduled based on the applicant’s year level, ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours. The assessment includes various activities and tests tailored to different age groups. After assessment, the admissions team evaluates the application and notifies the family of the decision within 1-2 weeks. Successful applicants receive a formal offer letter and an invoice for initial fees, including placement, security, and registration fees, which must be paid within the specified timeframe to secure the child’s place.

Early Years

At Bangkok Prep, the Early Years curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework of England, emphasizing thematic topics and child-led learning for a stimulating and enjoyable school experience. It nurtures learning through play and focuses on developing concepts, skills, and positive attitudes across various areas including personal, social, emotional, communication, language, physical, literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design. The curriculum prioritizes individualized learning, ensuring continuous progress while maintaining confidence and a can-do attitude.
