Message from the Head of School: Focus on Science Faculty Developments BKK Prep, Message from the Head of School, News March 29, 2019 Dear Parents and Students, I would like to announce some more exciting developments, which are planned within our Science Faculty. You are hopefully aware that in June 2019, the construction of the new academic Block D will commence on the T77 Secondary Campus. As a result of this development, the Science Faculty in Block C will double in size. There will be two floors completely dedicated to ‘state of the art’ Science Laboratories and academic Science classrooms. This facility will support the continuing the upward trend in IGCSE and A Level results. Last week, I mentioned that the teacher recruitment for the next academic year (2019 – 2020) has been completed. I am delighted to announce that amongst the newly appointed staff are some key additions to the Science Faculty and they will assume their new role in August 2019. I have included some information and a short message from them below: Hannah Caldwell – Faculty Leader of Science PGCE Secondary Science – University of Bristol BSc Biological Sciences (1st Class Hons) – University of Exeter NPQML – Leeds Becket University D of E Expedition Accredited Assessor (Bronze, Silver and Gold Award) Hi, my name is Hannah Caldwell and I’m looking forward to being Head of Science from September.
