Happy Spring Holidays! BKK Prep, News, Primary April 4, 2019 Being a part of an international school like Bangkok Prep offers opportunities to learn about different cultures, traditions and religions. We are so fortunate to have the freedom to celebrate and appreciate our friends’ beliefs and cultures. We heard the Jewish story about Passover and Moses leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. Last week we learned about Christians celebrating Easter, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We had an egg hunt in the library, made Easter cards to give away, and Year 6 students dyed Easter eggs during their library lessons. This week we learned about the Buddhist Thai New Year, Songkran. We learned about the meaning and traditions of the holiday, and made festive cards for our family. To see photos of all classes, click here. Many thanks to Khun Sirina (Amy 2AO) for donating several prizes. Have a safe and wonderful spring holiday!
