Another busy week for Higher Education events. We had a fantastic introduction to Studying in Australia, led by ONE education. Students also heard from the University of Sydney on how to become one of Australia’s top graduates, and the pathway to studying Medicine from Monash University. It was fantastic to see so many Year 12 and 13 students interested, a real positive change now that it’s feasible for fully vaccinated international students to physically study in Australia. The Higher Education team is currently supporting many Year 13 students with their Australia applications.

This was followed by our first face to face university visit for over 2 years! Our first visitors were from the University of Bath and Bristol.. It’s also the first time the universities have visited our new Sixth Form Centre. It was fantastic to catch up with old faces and give many students the opportunity to speak directly to university representatives for the first time. These changes to international travel also means that we are excited to announce that we have another face-to-face visit this term. Another popular university – the University of Durham – will be speaking to students and parents on 17th March in the Sixth Form centre at 3pm. Please do register here if you are interested.

But that’s not all next week! As we move into our final week of exploring global university destinations our Year 12s will be attending an introduction to other Asian destinations on Monday. This is complemented by a series of virtual university visits If you are interested please do sign up – they are open to parents and students.
