International Week in PE Primary, Sport November 16, 2018 The PE department have had a fabulous week introducing a variety of new sports which are popular in their year group continent. KS2 played the following sports: Year 3 (Europe) and 4 (Asia) were introduced to cricket – passing, catching, batting, fielding and a game of Quick Cricket; Year 5 (North America) played American Football – forward and lateral passing, catching, movement and mini games; and Year 6 (South America) had a session playing volleyball – set, dig, mini games and rotations. Our KS1 and EYFS classes travelled under, over and through an obstacle course with their continent in mind – Year 2 (Africa), Year 1 (Australia) and EYFS (Antarctica). We had a lot of fun seeing the children enjoying the new sports and tasks this week. EYFS KS1 Year 6 Thematic Magic Embracing the beauty of diversity in our Thematic class!
