Message from the Head of Primary – Friday 29 March 2019 BKK Prep, News, Primary March 29, 2019 “40,000 BAHT and still counting!” Dear All, First of all, I would like to acknowledge all the teachers that took part in this week’s Middle and Senior leaders training on Thursday evening. I am impressed with this as it has been a very long week for teachers as they had Parent/Teacher consultations for two of the evenings as well as staff meetings. What is particularly impressive is that this training was optional and we had thirty members of staff attend. In addition, most teachers will be attending the Spring Fair this Sunday. Speaking of which, I hope to see you all there on Sunday between 14:00 – 18:00 at our Primary Campus @53. Again, I would like to thank all the parents that have attended the Parent Forum’s to date. They have been an absolute pleasure to host and I have really enjoyed meeting you and discussing the school and the community. My final Parent Forums this term are next Tuesday 2nd April with Year 5 at 08:00-09:30 (Room 215) and Year 6 at 13:00-14:30 (Room 215). I hope to see as many of you there as possible. Thanks to the House Leaders (Matt Ferrier, Angela Hilderbrand, Suzanne Freeman and Beth Seddon) for helping Mr Breen with the House Charity Day today. This was the first time that this event has run for all Houses, simultaneously! Well done, everyone! Also thanks to Khun Gen and Matt Ferrier for helping liaise with Vana from B Grimm to organise the Save the Tiger assemblies and activities! Also, speaking of Matt Ferrier, a huge well done, to Matt for arranging the swimathon! Matt and our Swimathon, swimmers managed to raise 40,000+ baht (and still counting), which was donated to the ‘Save the Tigers’ fund today! Please do not forget our Songkran assembly celebrations are on Friday 5 April. The assembly begins at 09:00. Children, Staff and Parents are invited to wear flowery Songkran shirts in celebration of the Traditional celebrations. I look forward to seeing how many parents we can get in our sports hall wearing a flowery shirt of some description. Finally, I look forward to seeing you all at the Spring Fair to witness Mr Breen singing on stage! Have a great weekend, everyone!
