MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL – 18TH JANUARY 2019 BKK Prep, Message from the Head of School, News, Secondary January 18, 2019 Dear Students, Parents and Colleagues, I am sure you have heard of the success of last weekend’s FOBISIA Swim Invitational here at Bangkok Prep. Not only did we come 2nd in the face of such strong international competition but it was extremely well executed and enjoyable for all competitors. The next big event on the FOBISIA horizon for us is the Environmental Conference to be held at the Primary Campus on the weekend of 31st January. If you are looking for something to do next weekend please keep your calendar free and visit our Spring Extravaganza at the Primary Campus on Saturday afternoon. There will be lots of student entertainers alongside ‘F&B’ outlets as well some student stalls. I’ll look forward to seeing you all there. We are all keenly aware of the recent poor air quality here in Bangkok. At school we have been following our Air Quality Policy that drew up nearly two years ago to ensure all of our students and staff are kept as safe as possible. Due to the uncertainty about the air quality on Tuesday we have made the decision to postpone our Sports Day until later in the Term when the conditions become more favourable. I hope this will not affect your plans too much but trust you will understand our decision. Before I go, could I ask that you check that your children are using a lock on their lockers? Without locks, student belongings tend to overflow and get lost. This will help us, help the students! Thanks for your support. Finally, enjoy your weekend.
