MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL: COVID – 19 Dangerous and High Risk list – 06.03.2020 BKK Prep, Message from the Head of School, News, Primary, Secondary, Whole School March 6, 2020 Friday 6th March Dear Parent or Guardian RE: URGENT NOTIFICATION – Dangerous and High Risk list I would like to clarify any possible misunderstanding of some recent announcements by some government departments. These announcements have included the escalation of Italy, Iran, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea which are now listed as dangerous disease areas. Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, France and Germany remain on the list of high risk disease areas. This means that staff and students who are currently on self quarantine, because they have visited (or travelled through) the mentioned countries, should return to school following their 14 days self quarantine. These students and staff must have their temperature taken at security and visit the school nurse on entry to Primary or Secondary Campuses. Primary Campus – Khun Toom: supaksirip@bkkprep.ac.th Secondary Campus – Khun Bo: kingkarnp@bkkprep.ac.th We apologise for the inconvenience this has, no doubt, caused some families and also thank you for your patience and support. A reminder that additional temperature and travel detail checks, for all visitors to the campus, are ongoing. Thank you in advance for being patient if there are some delays when entering school. As the situation continues to evolve, we will endeavour to communicate with you by email, SMS and social media. This is to ensure as many people as possible directly receive the message should it become necessary to put further precautionary safety measures in place.
