Nursery Reading Workshop BKK Prep, Early Years, Event, News, Primary May 13, 2022 During the Nursery Reading Workshop, Ms Emma, Head of Early Years described the importance of developing the foundations of reading with young children. Parents had the opportunity to explore text free books, engaging in conversations around the illustrations, storyline, characters and settings. The workshop supported parents in developing the questioning and conversational prompts needed to support Nursery reading skills in the home. The Nursery children are excited to receive their first reading book this week and the teachers are looking forward to hearing the children engage in this pre-reading experience.
