Oxford AQA “Heart of the School Award Winner” BKK Prep, Event, News, Secondary, Whole School November 26, 2020 The school management team was asked by the Examination Board Oxford AQA to select one member of support or administrative staff in recognition of their continued commitment to school life during the Covid-19 pandemic. The nominees needed to demonstrate two crucial elements during the lockdown: Tireless commitment to ensuring the smooth running of school life, and “Going Further” to ensure the wellbeing of students during lockdown Although we had many staff who contributed in so many ways to these two things during lockdown, it was agreed that the PA to the Secondary Head, Khun Mod (Sudawadee Seriaruno), really had gone above and beyond during the lockdown period. She made sure that the school maintained communication with all its community, and took a lead when it came to preparing the Secondary Campus ready for students to return. This was a huge job which Khun Mod undertook with her usual attention to detail, calm manner and good humour whilst coordinating a huge team with the important task of making sure we were Covid-19 Secure for our students and staff to return. We really could not have done this without her. Well done Khun Mod – you are our “Heart of the School” and we celebrate this significant achievement with you.
