PE House Tournament Term 1.2 Basketball & Netball BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary, Sport, Whole School December 13, 2019 House competitions were played during PE lessons this week for all KS2 students. These tournaments took place and nearly every student participated in these competitions (some did not due to other events happening during the last week of term). Year 3 and 4 took part in their end of unit House basketball tournament and Year 5 and 6 participated in their House Netball tournament. Lower KS2 showcased their understanding of basketball with passing, dribbling and shooting this progressed nicely from their benchball competition in Term 1.1. Upper KS2 had the challenge of understanding set positions for netball and had to understand the importance of moving off the ball to support their team. Well done to all the students for their effort and enthusiasm, and especially those who showcased their leadership skills. Class tournament results and overall year group’s results are below: KS2 Tournament Results KS2 students also took part in KS2 Primary Sports Day on Wednesday 4th December where they showcased their track and field skills from the athletics unit.
