Pi Day 2023 BKK Prep, Event, News, Secondary March 24, 2023 Many digits of Pi were recited! Much cake was eaten by teachers! Our students celebrated Pi day this year by baking cakes and reciting Pi as accurately as possible for a house competition. Best cake was Albert Einstein’s face by Brenda & Miranda in Year 10. Coincidentally Pi day is also Albert Einstein’s birthday. The winning House was Panthera and the winning students in each year were: Year 7: Mei – 133 digits (Panthera). Year 8: Geni – 200 digits (Panthera). Year 9: Yong – 323 digits (Ursus). Year 11: JL – 100 digits (Panthera). Year 12: Ben – 30 digits (Ursus). Winning teacher: Mr.McIntosh – 96 digits (Sabre). The best recital was from Yong in Year 9 with 323 digits, new school record, amazing achievement from Yong (pictured with his badge, certificate & trophy). Well done everyone who took part.
