PSHE Empathy Day BKK Prep, Event, News, Secondary March 30, 2023 Students in Years 7-9 had the opportunity to spend the day thinking about the importance of empathy: Empathy for ourselves, and empathy for others. The day started with a visiting guest speaker from The UN Refugee Agency, who talked about the important work he does in helping displaced people and building equity amongst communities. This was followed by lessons exploring two Nepalese case studies, with students writing fact files and letters to express their understanding of the lives of others. In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to plan their own Empathy Action Projects. We are glad to be a part of the Empathy Week movement and look forward to making a valuable contribution to this global community.
