Reception Classes Visit Santisuk Post Office

Last week the Reception classes visited Santisuk Post Office (Thonglor) to send some mail to their home address. The children were excited to walk to the Post Office on a route which took us up and over Sukhumvit Road using the BTS sky bridge. We researched our route by looking at some of the hazards along the way, including the dangers of traffic as well as being mindful of other pedestrians using the street.

Once inside the Post Office, the postmaster reserved a cashier for the children to visit in order to hand over their mail to them. We watched as many other customers visited the shop and wondered what might be in their boxes.

Some of the mail has already arrived at the children’s homes; thank you for uploading photos of this to Seesaw. We would also like to thank the parents who gave up their time to accompany us on the trip too.
