Reception Visit Kidzania BKK Prep, News, Primary May 16, 2019 On Tuesday 14th May Reception excitedly left for their field trip to Kidzania, something the children have been looking forward to for many weeks! Before going on our visit, we have been looking at different types of journeys and how we get to places. The introduction and exploration of Bangkok using Google Earth has been particularly insightful, especially when using the ‘street view’ tool to drop down onto the road for a closer look at our local environment. Once at Kidzania, the children were encouraged to plan their morning with their friends and think about how include everyone’s requests to take part in preferred activities. There were some very mature discussions and compromises made in order to make the most of the allocated time to try out different professions. The children enthusiastically tried a range of professions including construction workers, fire fighters, surgeons, air stewards, mechanic and shop assistants. We shall continue to build upon the interests and knowledge the children acquired throughout the rest of the term.
