Remembrance Day at Bangkok Prep Event, News, Whole School November 18, 2022 Remembrance Day is a time for us to pay respects to all the sacrifices many have made for the protection of our nations and the Armistice agreement that brought World War One to a close. On Friday 11th November, across both campuses, Bangkok Prep students, teachers and staff observed a 1 minute silence at 11:11 am to honour the 11th hour of the 11th month when the guns of war fell silent. Thank you to our Primary Head Boy and Girl and their deputies and the Secondary Executive Student Team for their respectful and thoughtful assemblies held in the morning. Each year, Bangkok Prep supports the Poppy Appeal and have poppies available in the school cafeteria and the security gate for a suggested minimum donation of 50 Baht. Poppies are a visual pledge to honour veterans and remember the sacrifices they made for the freedom we enjoy today. The funds raised will be donated to the Royal British Legion. The charity will use the money to make sure that those who have served to protect our freedom will not be disadvantaged by the sacrifices they have made. We appreciate the continued support from the Bangkok Prep community of the Poppy Appeal. ADD YOUTUBE VDO AND MIXED PIX!!!
