‘Save the Tigers’ All House Charity Day and Swimathon! BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary March 29, 2019 Friday 29th March saw the first ever combined All House Charity Day. This year, we teamed up with B.GRIMM Group and the WWF to help drive their ‘Save the Tiger’ fund. It was great to see so many children wearing their house colours in support of such a wonderful cause. During the day, we were treated to presentations from WWF about tigers and how we can help to ensure that they don’t become extinct in the wild. There were also a series of educational activities provided to help the children reflect upon the impact we are having on tigers through poaching and disappearing habitats. During breaks and lunchtimes, we also had a series of House Charity activities which were run by our House Captains and the House Leaders. These events were lots of fun and were a fine example of our outstanding student leadership at Bangkok Prep! The house activities were well supported by all of the children, and lots of fun was had by all (even the bears, who got soaked with sponges for their charity event)! And if that wasn’t enough, we were also able to present K. Vana (the B GRIMM representative) and Mr Hall (from the WWF) with a cheque from our very first Bangkok Prep Charity Swimathon. Organised by Mr Matt, the event called upon our primary children to pledge to swim as many laps as they could in 30 minutes! There was an amazing response, and all funds raised went to the ‘Save the Tiger’ foundation. The response from our students was amazing and the end result was fantastic total of 75,000 baht! We are currently working hard to count all of the money raised throughout the day and this will be announced to the classes on the last day of this term! Overall a great day for a great cause! #savethetigers #wwf #globallyminded #prepresent Christmas e-Card Design Competition Winners 2023! Primary Well done to Dayton in 1SM!
