Secondary Sports Day BKK Prep, Event, News, Secondary, Sport February 16, 2023 Wow! What a day at Bangkok Prep Sports Day! Throwback to our students excelling! Cinematography credit: Trisha Z & Charlotte S. Congratulations to everyone on a successful and enjoyable Secondary Sports Day. It was truly a sight to behold as our students and staff demonstrated their athletic prowess and sportsmanship on the field. The energy, enthusiasm, and spirit displayed by each and every participant was simply inspiring, and it was a proud moment to see the school community come together in such a positive and supportive way. Every student who took part was absolutely amazing. There were so many personal goals met and the grit and determination that was demonstrated was unquestionably brilliant. Every student represented themselves, their House and their community superbly. We had several school records broken throughout the day in Track and Field events from Years 7 – 13. The statistics are brilliant. It’s the moment you have all been waiting for… The champions of Sports Day 2022/2023 are… SURUS. Congratulations. We would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to all the Student Ambassadors and staff who worked so hard to make this day possible. Your tireless efforts in organising, coordinating and ensuring that everything ran smoothly is appreciated by all. The student leadership from our examination PE students in Key Stage 5, is some of the best we have ever seen! Lastly, a huge congratulations to our students who participated in the events with great passion and determination. You all made your parents, peers and teachers proud with your impressive performances, collaboration and outstanding teamwork. In conclusion for Sports Day, we would like to express our deep appreciation to everyone involved in making Sports Day such a memorable and successful event. Your hard work and dedication to this event have not gone unnoticed and we look forward to many more events in the future. Plenty of other wonderful and exciting things have been happening in PE and Sport since the turn of the year. We have seen our examination students excel in their respective iGCSE, BTEC and A Level courses. We have seen a full programme of athletics, which prepared our students well for Sports Day. We have all been involved in the End of Season sports, as well as the Bulldog Cup and enjoyed seeing our students performing extremely well and representing themselves with determination and pride. Please have a restful and healthy half term and we look forward to welcoming you back for our net / wall and our striking / fielding in the PE Programme, which is for Years 7 – 13 inclusive. If you have any questions or are unclear of anything please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you all for your continued support.
