Tea & Biscuits: An Evening with UK Universities

In conjunction with The Greater Bangkok Fair, Bangkok Prep hosted, ‘Tea & Biscuits: An Evening with UK Universities’. This event brought together representatives from 20 prestigious UK universities to our campus. Students and parents from Bangkok Prep and other international schools around Bangkok had the opportunity to attend panel discussions on crucial aspects of UK university life, including personal statement writing, funding, course selection, and life as an international student. The event aimed to demystify the UK university experience and provide invaluable guidance for those considering higher education abroad. It was a fantastic opportunity for our community to gain insights from experts and take the first steps toward an exciting academic journey in the UK.

Visit from University of Edinburgh and London School of Economics Alumnus

On Thursday, September 14, Mek Ajay Sribhibhadh visited the Year 13 Futures class. He spoke to students about his journey choosing a course in economics and economic history at University of Edinburgh as an undergraduate student and the London School of Economics and Political Science as a postgraduate student. Students interested in both universities had a chance to talk to Ajay in more detail about the application process and student life.

Greater Bangkok Fair 2023

The Greater Bangkok Fair is an annual event where students have the opportunity to connect with Admissions Officers from universities and colleges worldwide. This year, 200 representatives from various institutions participated in the fair. Bangkok Prep students who participated in this event had the opportunity to ask representatives from these different institutions all their questions about university admissions, course content, study options, graduate careers, scholarships and more.
