TERM 3 ECA Programme is coming…….

The Term 3 ECA programme will open online next week, Friday 15th March (4.00pm).

Key Dates Term 3:

Friday 15th March (4.00pm)  – Thursday 21st March (23.59pm) Online Sign Up period Phase 1

Friday 29th March Confirmation of ECAs and payment details sent to all parents
Friday 29th March – Monday 22nd April Payment period for Term 3 ECAs

ECAs in Term 2 are running smoothly and it is great to see our students happy and enjoying their chosen ECAs. Term 2 ECAs end on Friday 29th March.  Note: There are no ECAs in the last week of Term 2 or the first week of Term 3.

In Term 3, we are pleased to be able to add some a new ECA to utilise the schools new Rock Climbing Wall.  Look out for the “Indoor Rock Climbing at T77” ECA.  It is available for both Primary (Y5-Y6) and Secondary students. Students will be taught the basics of Rock Climbing. This will start with the safety factors for climbing, how to use the ropes and how to climb efficiently and safely.  Primary students will take the bus from S53 to T77.

Secondary News

Our Secondary students have many ECAs on offer including creative activities, Organic Team, Joseph Musical Production, Thai Music as well as the many sporting opportunities including Recreational Football, Basketball, Swimming, Tennis, Table Tennis and Rugby.

Term 3 we will continue to have many of the favourites as well as some new ECAs including Yoga, Rock climbing, Programming 3D, Fitness and well-being and more. There are plenty of exciting options available and we encourage all students to join one or more ECAs in Term 3 to learn new skills, meet new friends, work collaboratively with their peers and to have fun!

Don’t forget to sign up for term 3 ECAs from the 15th March but remember that is NOT first come, first served.  The selection is based on order of preference, so please make sure you put the ECAs in order of preference.  A reminder that an Admin fee of 250thb will be added to all students who participate in one or more ECA in Term 3. Please note that the Instrumental and Voice Music Programme will be signed up at the same time as ECA Programme. All you need to know about the ECA programme can be found here.

Primary School

Admissions Procedure

When choosing Bangkok Prep for your child, you’re welcomed into the school family, ensuring a warm and supportive environment. The admissions process begins with completing a brief enquiry form, followed by an invitation for an introductory visit and tour. Conveniently located on Sukhumvit 77, Bangkok Prep offers both Primary and Secondary campuses. Upon deciding on Bangkok Prep, applicants submit their application form and required documents. Assessment sessions are then scheduled based on the applicant’s year level, ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours. The assessment includes various activities and tests tailored to different age groups. After assessment, the admissions team evaluates the application and notifies the family of the decision within 1-2 weeks. Successful applicants receive a formal offer letter and an invoice for initial fees, including placement, security, and registration fees, which must be paid within the specified timeframe to secure the child’s place.

Early Years

At Bangkok Prep, the Early Years curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework of England, emphasizing thematic topics and child-led learning for a stimulating and enjoyable school experience. It nurtures learning through play and focuses on developing concepts, skills, and positive attitudes across various areas including personal, social, emotional, communication, language, physical, literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design. The curriculum prioritizes individualized learning, ensuring continuous progress while maintaining confidence and a can-do attitude. Specialist sessions in Thai language and culture, music, library, physical education, and swimming further enhance learning opportunities.
