Thai Department News: Wai Kru Ceremony BKK Prep, News, Whole School October 5, 2023 Wai Kru Ceremony at Primary On Thursday 28th of September, The Thai Department organised the School’s annual ceremony for “ Wai Kru”. It was a very impressive and wonderful Thai traditional ceremony, which was a special occasion where all students showed their respect and thanks to their beloved teachers, who provide knowledge, competency and life skills to them all. On behalf of Primary Thai department, we would like to thank all the teachers and children to who made our Wai Kru ceremony such a memorable first event of the school year. Primary Thai Department Wai Kru Ceremony at Secondary Student representatives presented flower trays and garlands to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and all teaching staff who sat on the stage. The ceremony was very smooth and impressive. All teaching staff and SMT were impressed by the overwhelming performance shown by the students. The eve The Thai department would like to say a huge thanks to Head Boy Artin and Head Girl Pream who played an important role as the Masters of Ceremony. Shriya in Year 7 and Cia in Year 11 made touching speeches to praise and thank all the teachers for educating them. Prim in Year 8 and Bam in Year 13 led the Wai Kru Chanting whileMaithu, Vedanika in Year 8 and Monica in Year 12 sang a wonderful song “You are the Reason”. Special thanks also to Year 8 students including Radar, Prib, Ploydao, Earn, Penny, Grace, prim, Gunn,Pun Pun ,Ing , Pat , Jaja, Pasta ,Preme,Chul, Him who played Thai traditional instruments “Soi Lampang ”. Lastly, special thanks to all representatives who presented flower trays and garlands and for 3 students from each class who made a flower tray for their Tutors.
