The first Primary Afternoon Concert – October 17th 2019 Academic, BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary October 18, 2019 Notes from the Primary Music Department On Thursday afternoon 17th October at 15:45, the Primary Music department hosted the first of their series of Primary Afternoon Concerts for the 2019-20 academic year. This took place in music classroom 509, which provides as smaller but more relaxed and casual setting. The concert gave solo and duo musicians an opportunity to perform pieces they have been working on in their own time and with their private music tutors. All performers were required to audition, and then a few were chosen for the concert. Our young musicians performed a range of instruments from piano and violin to guitar and voice in music styles representing the Classical, Romantic and more Contemporary periods. All in all the concert was well attended by parents, friends and teachers who enjoyed the wonderful performances by our talented and hard working young musicians. I would like to congratulate our concert performers Ally – 1PD, Jai – 2JK, Yuth – 2JK, Sasha – 3DC, Fasai – 3MC, Bam – 4FS Mel – 4FS, Boss – 4CC, Poom – 4SL, sister duo Maya – 5EW and Saya – 5MF, Matt – 6KP, Pam – 6CD and Anne – 6JY.
