The University of Bristol Guest Lecture Series

The University of Bristol’s guest lecture series held on 13 March 2023 covered a range of fascinating topics, including Fintech, Molecular Science, and Economic Sustainability. In the Economic Sustainability lecture, Dr. Islam discussed the relationship between economic growth, development, and their sustainability. Dr. Islam highlighted that while economic growth is considered to be the main driver of economic development through trickle-down effects, the conversion of growth into development is not always guaranteed.
