USA College Essay Writing Workshop On Wednesday, 6 September, 2023, the Higher Education office held a College Essay Writing workshop. The workshop was offered after school to students in Year 13, as part of the university application process. Students learned about the college essay writing process, best practices, and got personalised feedback from their counsellors. Students also were able to receive individualised guidance about university applications and life in the USA in general. Many students are currently applying to universities in the United States. Y12 Parent HE Forum On September 14, 2023 the Higher Education Office organised our first Year 12 Parent Discussion Forum of the year. During this session, we had a lively discussion about how we can support our students in selecting their majors, making use of various application platforms and engaging in family conversations about shortlisting universities. We also delved into the possibilities of utilising AI to navigate the complex application procedures. We sincerely hope that more parents will join us in our upcoming HE events.
