Year 1 Fundraising for PAWs BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary April 4, 2019 This half term, Year 1 have been learning how to look after animals as part of their learning in their theme ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’. When the children learned all about local animals, they wanted to take action to help their local animals. One part of this was fundraising for the local cat charity PAWs. PAWs help cats in need on the streets of Bangkok and they rehome many cats as well as providing emergency medical care. Many Bangkok Prep teachers have adopted cats from PAWs. The children decided to bake and decorate cookies and cakes to sell at the Spring Fair. The cookies and cakes were very popular and the Year 1 children raised an impressive 5700 baht for PAWs. On Wednesday 3rd April, Kirsty and Train Kitty from PAWs visited us to teach us how we can help and we were able to give them our donations. We loved meeting Train Kitty too! If you are interested in adoption or donating, please contact PAWs! Bangkok Prep Teaching News – Issue 2 Welcome to the second issue of Prep Teaching News.
