Year 1 Parent Workshop Reading and Phonics BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary September 13, 2019 The Year 1 teachers and Liz Peacock, Head of Primary English, were delighted to welcome so many parents to their workshop on Reading and Phonics. This year, there was a focus on reading for pleasure as we are developing this across the school. Parents shared their own ideas of how to develop reading for pleasure too. The Year 1 teachers shared different strategies to support reading and phonics learning including how to encourage reading at home and useful games for children.
