Year 1 Trip to Christ Church

Year 1 had a wonderful trip to visit Christ Church for their learning all about ‘Festivities Around the World’ this week. We met Reverend Tim who told us lots of different stories with different props and even a donkey! We got to look around the church and find out all about the different kind of events they have in a church. We were able to ring the church bell and find out all about the stained glass windows. We asked lots of different questions about churches and what the different parts of the building were. Finally, we had a picnic outside before returning to school!
