Year 1 Trip to Pa Jeep Farm BKK Prep, News, Primary February 14, 2019 This Wednesday, Year 1 went on a trip to Pa Jeep Farm. When we arrived, we became farmers and changed into Thai farming clothes. Then we were ready to learn all about how to be farmers. First, we learned how to plant our own organic vegetables and about how worms can be used to keep soil and plants healthy. We picked vegetables to feed the animals and to eat ourselves. We were able to hold chickens, ducks as well as chicks and ducklings. We learned how to care for animals and even got to feed the goats. We picked our own eggs and cooked our own omelettes and rice. The trip completed our learning in our thematic lessons about growing plants as part of our theme ‘Global Gardens’ and started us thinking about animals in our theme ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’ which we will start after half term.
