Year 12 Students Qualify for 2nd Round of Thaivat Innovation Awards competition Academic, BKK Prep, COMPETITIONS & ACHIEVEMENTS, Event, News, Secondary February 16, 2023 At the beginning of January, our team, consisting of Pol, Ni, Mimmy and Aki, entered the “Thaivivat Innovation awards”. This is a competition from Thaivivat insurance company where we competed to come up with an innovative idea under the company’s tagline, “every second counts, every life matters”. The 4 themes for this project include Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Lifestyle. We decided to create an air quality analyser specifically to be used in industrial areas. The device offers features such as air quality predictions, health warnings and hazardous chemical content which will then send out warnings to the users. For our product, we developed the user interface of our mobile phone application using a website called Figma and a 3D model of the device using the SketchUp program. The process demands us to learn new skills: learning how to use business model canva, using different computer programs, conducting surveys, research, and developing products. The idea is presented through the pdf attached below. We are very excited to announce that out of 94 teams we have qualified for the second round. Please wish us luck.
