Year 2 Pirate Day BKK Prep, Event, News, Primary March 22, 2019 During Term 2, the children have learnt about ‘the golden age of piracy,’ famous pirates and how they lived. They have studied pirate ships, designed and made their own Pirate Puppets and written stories about Roger the Jolly Pirate. The highlight of this term was the show, ‘Jemima and the Jade Amulet’ when the children sang, danced and acted in true pirate style. This week saw the culmination of our Pirate learning. The children (and Year 2 Team) came dressed as pirates and they were able to choose from different pirate activities during the day.
