Year 2 Visitor from the Neilson Hays Library BKK Prep, News, Primary June 14, 2019 Last Friday, Ms. Manuela, volunteer and librarian at the Neilson Hays Library, very kindly came to visit us here at Bangkok Prep. Year 2 presented her with a cheque for 7,280 baht; the money raised from our recent book sale. Children brought in books from home that they no longer wanted and donated them to the sale. Children from all year groups were able to buy them (as well as some teachers!) and it was a great success. The library exists purely on donations from the public and is run by volunteers. It has been in existence for over 100 years and occupies a beautiful old building in Silom. The money raised will go towards the upkeep of the library and the many community events that they hold there. Well done, Year 2!
