Year 4 Service Project – PAWs and Shark Guardians BKK Prep, News, Primary June 27, 2019 Over the term, in our lessons and Genius Hour, Bangkok Prep Year 4 students have been focusing on helping charities. The two great charities are PAWs and Shark Guardians. As you might have guessed already, PAWs is a charity for injured cats, and Shark Guardians guard sharks! PAWs and Shark Guardians came to meet us and we spent a really great day with them. We have also had an opportunity to do sponsored activities and collected money to donate to the charities. We have been making our own sponsorship form, posters etc. We have done lots of activities to raise money, such as a sponsored skip, run, hula-hoop and much more. At home, we did these activities and raised money. All the money we have collected will be donated to either PAWs or Shark Guardians. That’s not all; in ‘Art week’ we worked on art which we sold in a silent auction and raised 6,000 baht! Pretty impressive! I think we can save the world by keeping this up! Miss Couper bought her cat Pippin in to visit year 4 at the end of the term as a treat and to show us the good work of PAWs – he was adopted from there! If you want to help, please do!
