Year 6 Residential to Kanchanaburi BKK Prep, News, Primary March 7, 2019 Year 6 had a fantastic time on their Residential last week in Kanchanaburi. This trip was a great learning experience, and the pupils had the opportunity to visit the War Cemetery, Death Railway Museum, Bridge over the River Kwae and Hellfire Pass to reinforce their learning about World War 2 which we had been studying in our thematic unit: Government and Conflict. We were very impressed with the pupil’s respectful behaviour and were proud to be from Bangkok Prep. The pupils also took part in many fun, challenging activities, such as a hike to the source of Sai Yok Noi waterfall and a swim with the fish in the beautiful pool there! Many of them tried things which they had never experienced before and showed real determination in the rock climbing, biking and raft building challenges. They also had great fun completing the adventure challenge course around the lake, with many of them taking a dip to cool off!
