We welcome Year 7 students from the Primary Campus and other schools both locally and globally. Many students also join at different times throughout the Key Stage and all students undertake our “new student induction” programme. This ensures they settle quickly and become an active member of the Bangkok Prep community. Their settling-in is closely monitored by the Pastoral Team, Form Tutor, Year Leader, Key Stage Leader and School Counsellor. It is a time of change not only in a physical and emotional sense but as learners they develop and grow.

Key Stage 3 aims to create an ethos where every student is valued and cared for using the Code of Conduct and Life Values to shape our future school leaders.

Expectations and work load increase as they move through Year 8 and 9. When students reach the end of Year 9, they are ready for their IGCSEs and are able to approach it with maturity. Selecting IGCSE subject options begins in October of Year 9 with a Parent and Student information exchange. Students are expected to select four IGCSE subjects with one in reserve. Typically options subjects are confirmed in January.
