More than 130 teams attended the five-day event from all over Thailand, including swimmers from Hong Kong, India and Malaysia. The swimmers from Bangkok Prep did very well indeed: Nisha and Angelina won gold medals, Dean was just edged out for 3rd place, Craig had personal bests in several of his races, and all of the above were on relay teams that won medals. Allen, Angelina, Julissa, Craig, Dean (missing: Nisha) Julissa and Allen both had personal bests in their races and Julissa swam the most events of all our swimmers. Congratulations to her and Allen who swam the long 1,500 metres. All swimmers competed well among very strong competition. As a member of the Thailand National Age Group Swim team, Nisha had particularly strong swims and held on to her top ranking. Angelina aspires to follow Nisha and make the Thai squad in the future.
