Year 1 art sale helps wildlife - Bangkok Prep

Year 1 art sale helps wildlife

The Year 1 children have been very busy learning about the rainforest. As part of this we have been learning about why the rainforest is important to us and the animals who live there. We looked into ways we could preserve the rainforest and care for the animals.

The Wildlife Animal Rescue Foundation in Bangkok is a charity that cares for animals that have been exploited, with the aim of eventually sending them back home to the wild. The Year 1 children here at Bangkok Prep have been very busy creating fantastic art linked to the rainforest.

On Thursday 2nd March, we had a rainforest art sale where we invited parents to view and buy the art. The children did a superb job informing the parents about the importance of preserving the rainforest, as well as singing songs for them and serving healthy snacks.

All together we raised 15,305 baht for the Wildlife Animal Rescue Foundation. We would like to thank all the parents for coming along and supporting the children.
