Once your child’s enrollment is confirmed, we will guide you step by step - from explaining the required documents to issuing the official school letters needed for visa applications, so you can prepare for your move to Thailand with clarity and confidence.

As soon as we have received all documents, our team will issue your visa letter within 3–5 business days, helping you to proceed confidently with your family’s relocation to Thailand.
Non-Ed visa application - at Thai Embassy abroad
Bangkok Prep's support
Our Admissions team will prepare an official letter for the Thai Embassy, confirming your child’s enrolment and providing all the required school documents for the visa application.
Non-Ed visa application
Parents then take this letter and the school documents to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country to apply for the Non-Immigrant Education (Non-Ed) visa.
Arrival in Thailand
Once the Non-Ed visa is approved and stamped in the passport, students can enter Thailand smoothly, with the correct visa already in place for admission to the country and to Bangkok Prep.

From Tourist to Non-Ed visa
After arriving in Thailand, families visit the Thai Immigration Office to apply for a Non-Immigrant Education (Non-Ed) visa, bringing all the required school and personal documents.
Permanence in Thailand
Students are initially granted a 90-day Non-Ed visa. Before this expires, families return to the Thai Immigration Office to extend it to a one-year Non-Ed visa, ensuring their child’s stay in Thailand remains fully compliant and uninterrupted.

Non-Ed visa 1 year extension - at the Immigration Office Thailand
Our Admissions team will prepare an official letter, confirming your child’s enrolment and providing all the required school documents for the visa application.
Non-Ed visa extension request
Families visit the Thai Immigration Office to apply for a Non-Ed visa extension, providing all the necessary documents.
Visa elaboration
At the Immigration Office, families collect a queue card and wait to be called. An officer checks the documents, photos and fee, then holds the student’s passport for processing (around four hours). Once complete, the passport is returned with a one-year Non-Immigrant Education (Non-Ed) visa.

Non-O visa application
Parents then take the official school letter and supporting documents to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country to apply for the Non-Immigrant “O” (Non-O) visa, ensuring they have the correct entry permission in place before travelling to Thailand.
Once the Non-O visa is approved and stamped in the passport, parents can enter Thailand smoothly, with the correct visa already in place for admission to the country.
