Learners lead discussions, share ideas and influence decisions, working closely with teachers and school leadership to shape a culture where everyone feels heard and valued.
Students proudly present our new Science Magazine, a student-led initiative born from a shared passion for science and curiosity about the world around us. Since March, a dedicated team from across year groups has collaborated to design and create this vibrant, engaging and educational publication. Inside, students share hands-on experiments, write insightful articles on space and physics, spotlight ground-breaking scientists and offer practical advice for future science students.
Through this magazine, they celebrate scientific discovery while showcasing the enthusiasm and creativity of our student community - and they hope to inspire others to explore, question and fall in love with science too. You can check it out here.
Students take the lead in planning and participating in outreach and fundraising projects, strengthening links between Bangkok Prep and the wider community. Through these varied opportunities, Bangkok Prep students learn to lead with empathy, responsibility, and purpose, skills that prepare them to thrive both within school and beyond.
Our Secondary Student Leadership Team brings together over 200 students who play an active role in shaping school life. The programme’s structure reflects our staff leadership model but cleverly uses our school’s name as an acronym: Performance, Relationships, Enrichment, and Public Relations.
Each student leader with a designated portfolio is paired with a dedicated Teacher Captain, who provides guidance, coaching, and support throughout their leadership journey. To further empower them, students receive leadership training, delivered by both internal experts and external facilitators, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence to lead with purpose.
Sports Day at Bangkok Prep brings the whole community together in a burst of colour, energy and House pride. Across KS1 and KS2, children put their PE learning into action as they run, jump and race with enthusiasm - showing agility, balance, coordination and growing fitness in every activity. They cheer each other on, celebrate every effort and learn that teamwork and encouragement matter as much as the final score.
In Secondary, students step up to even greater challenges, smashing personal goals and competing with determination in both traditional track and field events and exciting new activities. They represent their Houses with real pride, showing sportsmanship and mutual respect. Throughout the day, Sports Day strengthens friendships, builds confidence and deepens the sense of belonging that defines the Bangkok Prep community.
