At Bangkok Prep, community is at the heart of everything. A strong, collaborative culture underpins collective wellbeing and empowers students to recognise their privilege and use it positively. Families, students and staff support one another, creating a connected network that stands beside each member in both everyday school life and key moments. This spirit naturally extends beyond campus through community service, volunteering and active partnerships with charities, ensuring Bangkok Prep makes a meaningful difference to the wider world as well.
Every year, we listen closely to our community with students and staff taking part in our annual Temperature Check and sharing their views on life at Bangkok Prep. These outstanding levels of engagement show how invested our community is in shaping the school’s future.

Friends of Bangkok Prep (FOBP), founded in 2005, is a vibrant community of parents dedicated to enriching every child’s educational experience at Bangkok Prep. All parents automatically belong to FOBP, creating a united, engaged network that actively supports learning, wellbeing and the wider life of the school.
The annual line-up includes much-loved highlights such as the Halloween Spooktacular, Summer Carnival , the International Food Festival, Teachers Appreciation Breakfast, Parents vs Teachers Football, Basketball and Badminton matches. FOBP also contributes in many practical ways, from coordinating a network of Class Representatives and treating students to ice-cream after Sports Day, to providing graduation gifts for Year 13, welcoming new families at Orientation Days and organising a sustainable Green Uniform Swap.
FOBP is also a proud founding member of SPARKIT, a network of parent associations from international schools across Thailand, and runs Bulldog Biz, a directory showcasing parent-run and community businesses that further strengthens connections within the Bangkok Prep community.
FOBP is led by an elected committee of 16 parents who coordinate a wide range of community activities and events. The committee is supported by a wider network of class reps, country reps and parent volunteers, who play an active role in enriching school life. To ensure transparency, FOBP publishes committee meeting minutes and financial statements on Bulldog Connect, keeping the whole community informed and engaged.
