Throughout the day, children learn through a balance of guided routines and child-led learning time, where they choose activities that spark their curiosity and develop early language, maths, and social skills through play.
Circle time and story sessions in both English and Thai nurture their communication and early literacy in a warm, bilingual environment, while music and movement support gross‑motor development, rhythm and coordination. Regular snacks, toileting and a calm mindfulness and nap period help children learn to listen to their bodies and regulate their emotions, so that each learning block is approached with focus and confidence in a caring, structured setting.
Every day in Pre-Nursery is packed with new discoveries and purposeful good struggles. Children get curious, connect with friends and grow in confidence as they move through their routines. Timetables may differ, but here’s a glimpse of what happens between lessons for our youngest learners.

Children grow in confidence and independence every day. They take charge of washing their hands, feeding and dressing themselves, and tidying up after play. They explore hands-on activities, share books and play with friends, learning how to collaborate with one another.
Through these purposeful routines, students develop core life competencies including self-care, responsibility and social skills, building a foundation for lifelong success.
Children grow up immersed in English from day one, surrounded by expert Pre-Nursery teachers who speak and play with them in the language all day long.
In a vibrant community of 60 nationalities and more than 40 spoken languages, our youngest learners hear different accents and stories, start to connect across cultures and build the confidence to express themselves in English as they explore, play and make friends.
Every student at Bangkok Prep joins one of four Houses – Bears, Lions, Tigers or Elephants – staying with their team from Primary through Secondary. Through academic and sporting events, students collaborate, compete and build strong teamwork and House spirit.
