All applicants are asked to submit the following:
A completed application form
A passport-style digital photograph of the student
End-of-year school reports for the last two academic years
An interim school report for the current academic year (if available)
For non-Thai applicants: a photocopy of the student’s passport and the parent(s)’ passport(s)
For Thai applicants: a photocopy of the student’s birth certificate, house registration, and the parent(s)’ Thai ID card.
No - clear photocopies or digital scans are sufficient unless otherwise requested by the Admissions Team.
If certain documents are not immediately available (such as an interim school report), please submit what you have and inform the Admissions Team. They will advise you on next steps.
Documents can be shared directly with the Admissions Team, following the instructions provided during enquiry or application.
The assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level to ensure that we have the appropriate academic support and resources in place. We want to make sure that each child who joins our school community is able to access the curriculum and find success at Bangkok Prep.
CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test) helps us understand how students think and learn. It assesses reasoning skills rather than prior knowledge, giving insight into a student’s learning potential.
This test assesses English language proficiency to ensure students receive the right level of support in the classroom.
Applicants from abroad, and many students applying to Years 7-12 may have an informal interview with our Academic Team. For students applying to Year 10 and Year 12, this is often required specifically to help applicants with their IGCSE or Sixth Form subject option selections.
We aim to make the experience as positive and supportive as possible. Classroom welcome sessions, friendly staff, and age-appropriate activities help students feel comfortable and confident.
Begin your Bangkok Prep journey with a clear, friendly admissions process that puts students first - we’re here to guide families every step of the way.
