Future pathways
Benefit from personalised guidance for university and career choices, supporting your chosen path to lifelong success.
Students track progress through a mix of formative and summative assessments, regular feedback and honest self-reflection. Teachers use this data to set personalised targets, so every student gets the right level of challenge and support.
Progress reports and parent-teacher conferences keep families in the loop, sharing clear updates on achievement, effort and growth.
This approach means students step up, working towards exceptional IGCSE results that open doors worldwide.
Learners build life values in experiences built around five core principles - challenging, personalised, engaging, creative and collaborative.
Students grow key competencies, problem-solving, adaptability, self-awareness and collaboration, by leading projects, sharing ideas and reflecting on their growth. Research and data drive every decision and wellbeing sits at the heart of it all.
The 11 Bangkok Prep values, Globally Minded, Creative, Honest, Responsible, Resilient, Resourceful, Brave, Caring, Collaborative, Respectful and Proactive, are woven into every day. Students live these values, shaping the Bangkok Prep Learner Profile and preparing for a sustainable global future.
In Key Stage 3, students take two languages - French, Spanish, English, Japanese or Mandarin, while Thai passport holders dive deeper into Thai and EAL students strengthen their English through ESL.
In Key Stage 4, learners step up by advancing in one World Language, with Thai passport holders continuing Thai.
English is at the heart of learning, with students following either a First or Second Language English pathway, and most also taking English Literature. ESL pathways are tailored - some students accelerate and move to First Language English, while others build skills over two years.
Students connect with the world through international experiences. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (Bronze and Silver) challenges students to push boundaries in physical activity, skills development, community service and adventure.
Learners also take part in the ISP International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) programme, joining global exchanges, virtual buddy projects, Model United Nations, STEM research and artistic competitions.
Students enjoy residential trips in Thailand and abroad, including a recent trip to Europe in Germany.
Supported by our team, students take charge of their IGCSE preparation - exploring options, asking questions and reflecting on what each subject could mean for their future. Key Stage 3 and 4 Leaders, Form Tutors, teachers and focused PSHE lessons all provide support, making sure students and families have the information they need to make confident decisions.
The Futures Team, made by seven experts including dedicated University Guidance Counsellors, stands alongside every student, offering personalised early advice on careers and university applications.
Every student at Bangkok Prep joins one of four Houses – Bears, Lions, Tigers or Elephants – staying with their team from Primary through Secondary. Through academic and sporting events, students collaborate, compete and build strong teamwork and House spirit.

Vittorio 2024/25, Student, Year 10
I'm a Year 10 student at Bangkok Prep, and my form room is 10TC. For my IGCSE subjects, I picked Business, Psychology, PE, and Spanish. Being a student at Bangkok Prep really provides you with wonderful opportunities to help and support you through your IGCSE program, not only on the academic side but also on the sports side. One word I would use is just ""wonderful"" because of the community, the teachers, the coaches, and the people**. They** also help you find balance when you're uncertain about your choices. Miss Tinto helped me find my strengths and utilize them to the best of my ability ; it's very much appreciated. I'm proud to be here. It has also made me a better person and taught me what it's like to help one another and work together.
