As part of their Silver International Award Adventurous Journey, students recently completed an outstanding expedition in Kanchanaburi Province, demonstrating resilience, teamwork and leadership throughout. The journey began with two days of practice, followed by a challenging three-day qualifier. In total, students paddled over 150km along the River Khwae Noi and River Khwae Yai, navigating river routes independently and applying the skills they had carefully developed during training.Beyond the physical challenge, students planned and cooked their own meals, organised equipment, and camped at three different campsites, each offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Many students stepped up to demonstrate strong leadership, while every participant showed perseverance, determination and a commitment working towards their qualifier.Covering significant distance across diverse river terrain, this expedition was a true test of endurance. The teams should be incredibly proud of their achievement, a fantastic example of the spirit of adventure and teamwork at the heart of the Silver Award.
